It is estimated that the overall global production of hazardous waste is 330,000,000 ton / year, all of which come from pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, oil refinery, purification of natural gas, etc. Industrial waste heat recovery is the practice of extracting useful energy from excess heat produced by industrial processes. Waste heat recovery boiler for hazardous waste industry is used to destroy commercial and industrial waste. In the process of combusting this waste, the incinerators generate a significant amount of heat. Although European incinerators commonly recover this waste heat, some developed countries plants typically exhaust this energy into the atmosphere due to economic factors. As the cost of natural gas and power increases, however, developed countries interest in waste heat recovery continues to grow.
Necessity of Waste Heat Recovery Boiler for Hazardous Waste Industry
It is estimated that the overall global production of hazardous waste is 330,000,000 ton / year, all of which come from pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, oil refinery, purification of natural gas, etc. The list goes on and on. The title “hazardous” is derived from the corrosivity, toxicity, ignitability, reactivity and infectivity of the waste in forms of gas, liquid, and solid. Industrial hazardous waste has become a “political waste” around the world. One of the effective treatments of hazardous waste is by careful incineration (if ignitable) and, or heat to incinerate (if not ignitable ) in a protected environment. By doing so, a waste heat recovery boiler is needed to reduce process cost.
ZG Boiler is the waste heat recovery boiler manufacturer with more than 70 years’ history and we have many successful projects and the waste heat recovery boiler we design and manufactured have wide application and they can be applied in chemical industry, iron and steel industry, sinter plant, glass industry, etc.
Design Ingenuity of Waste Heat Recovery Boiler for Hazardous Waste Industry
Flue gas emanated from the incineration chamber then entering our waste heat recovery boiler is at temperature of 1050 ℃ ~ 1100 ℃, and it usually contains toxic and corrosive substances ( e.g. heavy metals, salt, chlorides, and so on). Ergo, there’s a well recognized difficulty in ensuring the cleanness of heat surface. We design our waste heat boiler strictly in accordance with the specific gas content details provided by the customer for this type of waste heat recovery application. The overall boiler system features customized suspension-membrane & multi gas channeling structure, along with special measures taken to ensure the heat conduct surface temperature above the dew point of gaseous sulfuric acid, all of which help eliminate the possibility of tube corrosion. The average investment recovery period is around 2 to 3 years.
